Just binged through all of your Marvel's Agents of SHIELD reactions today and loved them. I actually really enjoy season one, even though a lot of people say it's not that good (at least at first). I can understand that thought process though, because the ramp up in quality is noticable in the second half of the season, but I think that a lot of that is set up in the first half with these "slower" episodes, for lack of a better term. Without these episodes in which we get to know the characters and how everything works, the second half would not be as good. That's how I view things at least. And yeah, if you're going to watch the movies (which I would love to see, BTW), you will definitely gain a higher level of enjoyment from the show, at least for the first few seasons. And overall for Marvel properties in general it's nice to have a wider understanding of the world. It's one of the fun things about shared universes. And just as a base point, the movies are really fun. I've enjoyed them all, and I think you would as well.

I really enjoyed watching this again... and also witnessing your experience of it. I haven't seen this episode for so long. It actually means more to me now, because I know the characters so much better now after seeing the other seasons.
