There is an audio podcast called "Pilot Inspectors" and they did a show on the pilot for Felicity. Part of their take on it is that Felicity has been very introverted and cautious her whole life until now, and when we join her story she is kind of over-correcting towards impulsivity and radical candor. Far from hiding her feelings, she tells people what she's thinking explicitly, all the time, whether it's wise or not. It's all kind of a reaction to how sheltered and programmed she used to be. Anyway, that's the idea, I think it helps explain her quite well. The great thing is that there are still more characters to meet, and dig into, and they are all really fun.

Oh God. I forgot how much I love Noel and Felicity. I don't actually ship them. I just find Felicity adorable... and I also find Noel's crush on Felicity to be adorable.
