Angel 2x1: Judgement (FULL) (Patreon)

Unfortunately I got cut off at the end so I'll just write my thoughts here (should be read after watching the episode). 

So Darla is here, and she looks great so that makes me worried for Angel. "I'd love to see that boy," and the camera zooms into her face and its eerie. What will she do when she sees Angel? What will Angel do when he sees her?? He might be speechless at first but I'm curious to see how he will approach the situation. She might try to befriend Angel again and use that against him, but if he ever asks about how she's still alive I doubt that she would tell him. Might require Angel, Cordelia and Wesley to connect the dots in order to realize that Wolfram and Hart are behind this. Unless they realize right away. So that's my prediction. 

Also Angel ends up killing someone's protector, basically an innocent demon. Kmar was his name? That was pretty shocking, I didn't expect for that to happen. 

Towards the end I thought that woman was going to give birth to the special child and we would be able to witness the event, didn't realize it was a jail being shown HAHA, oops. I didn't expect to see Faith either in this episode. However it was really sweet seeing how Angel still visits Faith and checks up on her!! He didn't forget about her. The way they give each other updates as well, and he tries to make her laugh/cheer her up. That's so nice. Glad to see that she's holding up alright. I do wonder if this is the last time we'll be seeing Faith. Probably not. 

Overall this was a really good start to season 2. The demon nightclub where they perform karaoke was so cool, and the demon hosting the nightclub has an awesome voice + character. Gunn is now part of the main cast, so that answers my question regarding his importance. He's such a cool character. I'm so excited for season 2!!
