I did sort of have to explain that Cecil Baldwin plays Cecil Palmer a little bit to the person I saw Haunting of Night Vale with. Like, of course he understood that Night Vale is a fictional town where things don't work the same as here, but he was a little unclear about things like whether real world Cecil is married to a guy named Carlos and such. And it wasn't even the first Night Vale live show he'd seen.
