Hi Patreon scouts! Thank you again for all of your support. One thing we've been working on with your help is a new and better archive for our episode transcripts. We want to help with accessibility for the hearing impaired, and eariler this year, we started a project to post publicly-available transcripts here on Patreon. But Patreon is not so easily searchable or sortable. So, for a project like this one, it's not been a great option (and also as I so embarrassingly learned a couple months ago: it pings y'all's phones every time I post an archived script, which is annoying as all get out. Again, very sorry about that. )

So, we have a new home for Welcome to Night Vale transcripts: welcometonightvale.com/transcripts.

As of today (Oct 1, 2020), we have transcripts going back to episode 61, which is the beginning of 2015. We should have the archive completed by November, and we're still working out some of the glitches and such with the blog engine, but there it is. It's free to anyone, and searchable (finally!). So thank you for supporting us and helping to make this archive happen (through your financial support and your feedback). We really appreciate it!

Also if you know people in need of readable scripts, let them know too.

xo,

jeffrey

Side note: "hearing impaired" is not how the Deaf community identifies. They use/prefer Deaf (for someone culturally Deaf/uses ASL), deaf (for someone with significant hearing loss), or hard of hearing (HoH, for someone with some amount of hearing loss who chooses not to identify as deaf). For whatever reason, hearing people tend to think "hearing impaired" is the PC term, but for Deaf folks, it implies that they are broken, and that isn't how they see it in the slightest. Thank you for making your art more accessible!
