This Week's Video - UPDATE! (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

With this week's video just a couple of days away I wanted to post here to update you all about it with some important info!

This week's video is for the game Evil Genius 2. I'm super excited about it, it's the most ambitious video I've ever made and the game itself is the long-awaited sequel to one of my absolute favourite childhood games.

So why the update here? Well this Friday's video is sponsored by Rebellion, the game's publisher. It's very exciting as they reached out to me to make a video for them, apparently I have some fans on the game's design team!  I realised it has been a long while since I've done something sponsored (my last was the Frostpunk battle with Dan in 2019!) and the Patreon has grown a lot since then so I wanted to write to you now in the interest of clarity and transparency.

Sponsored content has been such a rarity so far for the channel that I've neglected to update the Patreon with information about how it is handled and I sincerely apologise for that.  So this is a post to let you know that, like the Frostpunk rap battle, this week's video will not feature a Patron credits roll on the end. This is so I can thank the sponsor and do the required promotional talk for the game. Rebellion have fully funded this video production and paid for that ad space.

I am very sorry to any of you this may disappoint! I especially want to apologise to the new Patron who joined the credits tier just as a complete writing this! I will now adjust the tier descriptions to reference sponsored content.

I can reveal however, that though this month's video is the biggest and most ambitious video I've ever made... Next month's is BIGGER and is entirely Patron funded so your pledges will be incredibly en-thankened come April's video!
