Happy new year, everyone! The first release of the year is kind of an odd one, huh? Well, since I had some time in December to do as I pleased, it's natural I had some stuff that's a bit more indulgent. :P

I imagine most haven't heard of it yet, but I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for an anime adaptation soon. (I mean hey, if Bloom Into You could do it why not?)

I'm in Love with the Villainess is a great yuri light novel I read last year about a business woman being isekai'd into the world of a game she's played constantly. While there are plenty of male suitors to pick from, her tastes are instead fixated on the villainess of her story, preferring to romance her instead.

Prolly my biggest surprise (For a Japanese yuri story anyway) is that it dives into the topics regarding LGBT in Tokyo and the game's lore itself. It's prolly my favorite story to read in 2021, and its manga adaptation just got translated last year. Volume 2 is coming out sometime in February, so if you want me to recommend something for you, it's likely going to be this!
