Regarding the future of commission payments (Patreon)

Hey guys. I just wanted to make a quick announcement regarding the next cycle of commissions when they come up.

The plan is to open sometime around October, but when I do I'm likely going to test the waters on something new. Aside from the current discourse regarding OnlyFans, MasterCard, and their current attitude towards sex and sex workers, there's another thing that came up regarding PayPal.

Now, don't worry, it has nothing to do with NSFW creators, but it's still an issue for someone like myself. As seen here, there's been an increase to their rates, and I definitely took notice of this compared to past cycles. Thus, I'm going to try another method for processing my payments.

I know Stripe is looking to be a popular candidate, thanks to the ability to use PayPal to make those payments and invoices and such. I think I may have made an account years back, but I honestly forgot it was even A Thing.

I've also seen Cash get thrown around, which despite the generic name could still prove to be a better means of rates if I'm careful enough. I'll try to spare whatever time I can get to research it better, but those are the big ones I'm considering.

I just want to make sure that this is out there so that when commissions do roll around again there's no surprises. That's all for now, though. Have a good week!
