 From Axios:  Metroid: Samus finding a strange device that when activated traps her in a compressed morph ball shape (while in her zero suit, not armour) with just her lower holes exposed before she's picked up by a robotic arm and packed in a vacuum-tight package and placed with hundreds of other small balls like her to be sold as a sextoy.

And that's exactly what happens. :P Sort of. There's some tweaking, but it's the basic idea still in there.
