The State of Something Address, 5/31/18 (Patreon)

   Heya guys. As we close out May and begin June, when I open up normal commissions and send out Patreon stories, there's a bit I want to talk to you about as far as the Patreon's status goes. For at least a year and a half I've been on and off about having one, originally trying to utilize it as a mere tip jar, although this was before knowing Ko-fi was a thing. When the weird time where Patreon was changing the payout system to content creators but charging more to patrons, I was out seeking other options, though nothing really stuck, so I came back to here.   
  Since then, I've had a few patrons joining me and supporting however they can, and I kinda just rolled with it, not thinking of making Patreon a high priority. But I've decided maybe I should take this a little more seriously, so I'm revamping the tiers once again after payments for June go through, though hopefully it won't be anything too drastic.   
  $1 polls whenever    

$3 early access to all stories two weeks early    

$10 behind the scenes & exclusive content & CYOA voting  

$20 2k comms + 1k every 2 months    

$50 5k comms + 2k every 2 months

  The $30 tier is gone completely, and the $10 commissions will be changed to instead give access to materials that I don't intend to release publicly. This won't be anything major, just scrapped stuff and stories I have to share about storywriting and development and the like. Also, the $3 will now focus on all stories rather than non-commissioned, the reason being that when I first made that tier, I didn't think I'd get to where I am right now with commissions. (Seriously, who knew I'd be opening and closing on a monthly basis? Not this guy.) So since those have been rather slow to come out, clearly a change is needed.
  Finally, a little something to entice those of you that are still here at the commission tiers; every two months you will be given a free additional 1000 words to go with your story, which will hopefully expand further on some of the ideas you have to share with me. These words won't be stackable, however, and will only happen every two months, so for example, this system will start up in June, which will give you these words for July, but you won't be able to use them in August, and won't get another 1k until September.
