If you like Woonki you should watch his BL that came out this year called Love for Loves Sake

Hayley

there was actually a dance battle between sung hanbin and haruto but they never released it 💔

isabelomaski

So (Sung) Hanbin and Haruto actually also faced off in the dance battle but Mnet might've though their dance battle was too fruity so they didn't air it. Haruto shared in an IG live that both of them were doing drops and dips all over the place (he said he might've dipped 10x lol) so yeah Mnet cut it tskkk.

*adding to this while i watch The "best couple" thing in the beginning and all the pairings came from a game day they did. It's on youtube. Basically, Mingyu and Hiroto won in the end hence why they are "best couple". Idk if its too much of a spoiler but Zhang Hao and Jiwoong have almost no interactions throughout Boys Planet. So unfortunately there isn't much to indulge on until much later. 21:28 funny that you mentioned Dongpyo because Woongki (the one who backed in to dance Hype boy) is good friends with Dongpyo. Also, that's Seowon who's in 18th place. You'll like him because you also kept pointing him out when he did Love Killa in the Zerobaseone guide. He's currently a member is the group Nine.i 24:51 but are we delusional if its real and in our faces? lol jk. Whatever HaoBin's relationship is (brothers, best friend, partners), it's precious and I'm just glad they have someone they can lean on and turn to. That's what we been saying! Boys Planet is like the fruitiest survival show ever. It's nice to see the guys being able to be themselves and be comfortable around one another. As annoying as some of the dance mentor's comments are when they're mentoring, we just have to remember that they're doing their job and we're only seeing like a 2 minute moment of their interactions. But outside of the practice room, they know how to have fun. Baek Kooyoung hosted a show on youtube called "Dope Club" where he interviews a lot of idols and celebs and he's way more chill and like a completely different person. And yes they're both good at what they do seeing as they've choreographed like, half of the current Kpop boy group choreos. Woongki is so unappogetically himself and so loved on the show by the other guys. He recently starred in a BL btw. And he used to be in the group T01 (TOO) . TBH he's probably the fruitiest one on Boys Planet, in my opinion at least. 42:07 Mingyu is not gone actually! He's Red House, one of the guys that did "My House" during the audition round. 53:03 I do agree with you, Gyuvin has an amazing smile. I think the reason why you don't see the guys mentioning Gyuvin and Hanbin because this was for rank 34, even though this was the first eliminations the guys know their previous 2 weeks' rankings and probably already had a good idea that Gyuvin and Hanbin were likely in the top 9. How did Jay not debut? Whelp he had a big international fanbase but not so much in Korea. The difference in his votes between the Korean and international was insane throughout the show. Plus at the time, Jay haters were spreading a bunch of rumors on twitter so he got a lot of unwarrented hate from that. He ended up 10th in the end. But he did go on to debut as a soloist and in One Pact and is currently competing on "Build Up" where he's ranked #1 in votes.

You skipped through some cute moments by skipping so much (Gyuvin commenting on Gunwook going up to the same spot they met (seat 10….) and a few other cute moments between the members that are just interesting because they didn’t know they’d debut together, Gunwook being super happy for Hwanhee staying, pretty much all of their speeches were cute too…) I know the eliminations are long and boring but next time I feel like you might enjoy them more if you let the speeches play a little more, at least for the top 1-13 because those are the contestants you’re going to be spending a lot of time with… pretty much until the finale.

Isn’t it good that the main top players maintained their ranks to the end? The reason people were so frustrated about Kep1er’s lineup is because most of the top ranks dropped out in the finale (not too mad about it since my fave Youngeun got to debut)… They’re fan favourites from the beginning for a reason, it would be more frustrating for them to not debut in the end. And also Jay didn’t debut mostly because his fanbase is so international and the votes are weighted to favor the Korean voters, which I think makes sense because at the end of the day its a KPOP group, intended to promote primarily in Korea. But I think someone calculated and unfortunately he wouldn’t have debuted even if international and Korean votes were valued the same… He also was quite scandalous, there were rumors going around about him saying slurs in his discord server but I’m unsure if the evidence for that ended up being edited or not, I think they may have been? I have no idea. But He’s in ONEPACT now though and participating in another mnet survival show called Build Up if you’re interested in supporting him.

Like obviously I think you should continue to skip through the elims since they really are so boring… but maybe you could let them get some sentences in so you understand whats happening and why (like the top 9 candidates thing, you skipped through the explanation and then got confused what they were doing..)

Maria

“someone write the fanfic” and they did…there’s almost 2,000 of them already in existence. haobin made it into the ao3’s top 100 most popular ships in 2023 list 😭

Woongki was on an episode of Dongpyo's youtube show he was hosting at the time and it went exactly how you'd think it would

Lala

i wish you wouldnt take the games so seriously haha they were all having fun i promise dont worry <3

Lala

i really dont understand your point of it being "obvious" who will debut. in the previous produce seasons a lot of people who ranked higher didnt make it. our bp twitter community was scared of exactly that happening and that lead to more consistent votes. i hope you remember this isnt a drama with "plot twists" because its not scripted. its literally based on live votes that korean and global fans consistently worked for. to me, the consistent high ranking just shows that this season was not rigged. still, a lot of people were expecting keita to make it and even hanbin and jay. ricky, gunwook debuting was a gag. same with hao ranking first. if someone just goes from 40ish to top 9 like you want them to, its a little shady to me. this season had a third party monitoring all the votes so there was little to no chance of rigging. idk if it makes it more "boring" for u but we would be shitting bricks everytime we'd watch the rankings. probably because ur watching this later. but its just logical to think that this is not scripted or rigged, so its only right for the ones consistently getting voted for to debut.

Lala

exactly. like it makes sense for the higher ranking ones to debut (unless it gets rigged, which we were afraid of).

Lala

i think it would be better to watch on 2x (thats what i did)
