omg that ending??? the concept for the next round? Also what's with hating on Chaeyeon? Am i bias cause she's an idol or? I don't even like IZONE, but hmmm, not a fan of the disrespect towards her. Let me know what you think.

Sadly, because of the length of the episodes, i think we can only do one a month :/

I find the show really fun, not just because of the drama or because of a certain crew I'm a fan of, but because its pretty fun to learn about the dance scene in South Korea through the show, the well known competitive dance crews and choreographers and etc! By the way, waacking is a kind of dance that started in LGBTQ Ballroom culture in the 1970s (mostly by black and latinx gay men and trans women) Think of it as a cousin to voguing, but instead of angles, it focuses on rotational arm movements! Its very difficult (well for me anyways😭)

About BoA- at the time idols werent seen as "dancers". Like yes, they were expected to dance, and make trendy dances, but they weren't seen as professional dancers. BoA was seen as an exception. She was a dancer as well as being an idol- she was KNOWN for her dancing and it was one of the main things that made her stand apart. Although its arguable what group set the standard for idols being amazing dancers, it's clear that before, idols like BoA were seen as an outlier. So the dancers respect for BoA, who is an idol, is more for her years of high level dancing expertise and influence on them.
