running man was really physically demanding in the earlier seasons because shoots would start in the evening around 8 or 9pm and go until sunrise and most of the members main jobs weren't as hosts. joong ki was the 1st mainstay to leave because he needed more time to focus on his acting career and gary was the 2nd to go to focus on his music. the remaining members have also mentioned the show was super draining because it wasnt like a regular variety talk show and almost every episode required them using their bodies and often taking hits. kwang soo the one whos leaving soon was hit by a car last year and fractured his ankle and it didnt fully recover so he wants to take time off to heal. fans are also speculating he and his girlfriend may get married during this break too ❤

the best part of the episode is when they give the mission in a dramatic way, and then Jessica "i haven't finished reading all" comment 10 years later, will never be not funny lol
