omg :'( what a beautiful ending! Such a long video and i actually watched it in one day lol. I was planning to split it, but whatever, i made it work! I will do the commentary as well! Thanks for going on this bittersweet journey with me!

my favorite part of the finale which they didn't show was gyuvin crying and everyone coming to hug him when yujin got announced, you'd think he got announced a second time lol 😭😭 excited for you to watch the commentary!

yay! these are just my thoughts as i'm watching (potential spoilers for people who haven't seen this episode yet): hao on boys planet and hao in zb1 are like two different people with two completely different personalities. you can see a bit of his personality in the bts content, but for the most part he controlled himself so much on bp but in zb1 he is like, so comfortable being himself. so i agree he was stoic here but i don't think that describes him at all now. realistically if yuehua pulls their artists from zb1 they will probably debut them with the yuehua members of evnne (yunseo and seungeon) and possibly ollie (but he recently won a chinese survival show and is in a cpop group right now so who knows). but like honestly i just want both zb1 and evnne to extend their contracts lol. yeah lmao hao has abs but he's the world's most unathletic person. it's an ongoing mystery. wakeone gets to manage zb1 as a whole because they're a cj e&m subsidiary (the company that produces the show and is also the parent company for mnet). obviously yeah that raises concerns for rigging, but after the vote rigging scandal that caused x1 to disband, they made it a point at the beginning of every bp episode (and maybe also gp but i didn't watch that) to state that the votes were audited by the korean branch of PwC to ensure fairness. they're known as one of the "big 4" accounting/audit firms worldwide so i think it's safe to assume the process is secure. at the end when hao sat down in the p1 chair, hanbin was shouting at him so he turned around to look at him and hanbin said "it suits you" and that's when hao started outright sobbing ); yeah they didn't show the other members' reactions live but there's like, a ton of fancams out there lol gyuvin's reactions to everyone are hilarious

I remember being suprised at how well Gunwook pulled off "Jelly Pop" like I knew he was cute offstage but every performance he's done on Boys Planet had been more mature and darker than cute. His smile was just so nice in Jelly Pop. 1:05:53 To be fair, you also called Jay cringy when he appeared in the first episode. 😅 But I'm glad you gave him a chance and have now become a Jay defender. You should check out One Pact when you have a chance. Also, I love that in the last episode you said something about what if Jay came in 10th place and because he didn't get main vocal part for the final performance and in the end, Jay DID PLACE 10TH. The dorm situation: From the looks of it, the trainees switch rooms after each elimination/new mission. They also switched dorms after the first elimination since the original dorm had 2 bunk beds per room while the dorm in the later missions had 3 beds. There is a few extra clips that Mnet released of the guys in the dorm. Hao placing first over Hanbin was the plottwist of the night. And it was so beautiful that them two got to basically share it together. People said the 1st place announcement was like a HaoBin wedding. Also, there is a fan clip out there somewhere of the staff trying to tell Hanbin and Hao to walk up separately but they walked together anyways.

Here are some groups that have come out of Boys Planet (or ones where there's multiple BP trainees) EVNNE: Keita, Park Hanbin, Yoo Seungyeon, Lee JeonHyeon, Ji Yunseo, Mun Junghyun, and Park Jihoo One Pact: Yoon Jongwoo, Jay Chang, TAG (former Ciipher member, left the show prior to premire), Oh Sungmin, Lee Yedam Ampers&one: Choi Jiho, Brian, and Kamden TOZ: Haruto, Antonny, Takuto, and Yuto TIOT: Kum Junhyeon, Kim Minsung, Choi Woojin, Hong Keonhee And Lee Seunghwan debuted as a soloist under the stage name ONLEE and Wang Zihao debuted under the name Le'V Jay Chang, Wumuti, and Hwanhee also went to compete on MNET's "Build Up"

omg i find it so interesting watching hao in boys planet and then hao in zb1 because especially with haobin i never realised how one sided it looked on the show, obviously not entirely but just how it can be perceived that way. and its so funny because hao is literally obsessed with hanbin lol and he just airs out all their business, its actually hilarious. im so glad they're still as close as ever and genuinely still love and appreciate each other so much. I also remember watching this way after it was aired, as i wasnt there for them during the show and i was the same as you for the ranks, i was surprised on low jiwoong ranked at first but it really doesnt matter they all are in the group anyways ahaha. but i did hear that a lot of people during the finals were scared that hao dropped alot and i think thats why alot of people were actually really shocked that the top two contenders for 1 and 2 were still hao and hanbin. anyways sorry for the long comment, love your reactions as always :)

you NEED to look up the clips of Gyuvin when he was waiting for everyone else to be announced after him. He was throwing himself off of that chair his reactions to every member were so cute and endearing

I cried when i said you won't allow that Matthew gets hate. I swear as someone who was a Matthew stan since Day 1, the switch up on Matthew during boys planet was crazy. To give u an idea, a group of people created a false rumor about him which got out of control. Matthew and his family were receiving d-threats to the point that his company and HIS SISTER had to address it. People were calling him the vilest things, they are asking to kick him out of the show. Matthew even wanted to just give up and go home. His sister said that during those times, Matthew has decided to be coming home with them in Canada if he won't make it in the finale. Up until this day, I can't and will never forgive each and every single person who contributed to that.
