Important Update: The Future For Patreon (Patreon)

Ekard (Popo) here everyone! As Jouten mentioned yesterday, he has decided to retire from making anime content and focus fully on his career outside of YouTube. With that said, I’ll be taking over the patreon to upload content again. In addition, I’ll be reactivating the original JOMA channel to upload content on to.

You can expect patreon content to be uploaded every day starting today as I look towards hiring an assistant editor sometime this year for the YouTube and Tiktok side of content. This year I’ll be doubling down on creating YouTube content as I work towards building my career as a card game designer and author on the side. There will be more content on patreon than YouTube as I work to change up the traditional style for reaction videos. For this year I’ll also be looking to expand on original content with an emphasis on Storytelling/Commentary satire content.

I have also updated the tiers to reflect the series and the changes moving forward. As I bring over my reaction content from my other patreon, we will be fully back into the grind for Operation GOTH (get out the hood) by Monday.

Here is a list of series that will be uploaded to patreon till the end of the Winter Season (from now till March 31st). After I catch up bingeing completed series, the reaction polls will officially begin for more patreon exclusive series.

I haven't been around for awhile so I'm out of the loop but why is jouten retiring from anime content and is it like he's done watching anime for good or so just wants to watch it in his own time?

I initially convinced Jouten 5yrs ago to join me in creating JOMA back when he was first retired. Unfortunately JOMA got hit with a lot of copyright troubles over the past 5 yrs along with him losing his job during the whole covid lockdowns. He recently got a new job and will be putting his full focus into that and wanted to focus more on his career outside of youtube. He'll watch anime in his own time/not make content about it. He'll still be streaming on twitch when he gets back on his feet but for gaming.
