For DoBC, I feel like there's a reason why they suddenly went into that flashback, and for some reason her dad's hair is the same color or at least an extremely similar color to the mc's. I actually think there's probably a connection between them, I feel like that's what that sudden transition was insinuating. Doubt it was just "random." Y'all gotta think outside the box a bit more.

Might not be as in depth as Endeavor’s. But we do get reasoning to why Bakugo was the way he was. Ever since he developed his Quirk, everyone has been praising him for the genius that he is and how his Quirk is so great. This, of course, led to an over-inflated ego and a superiority complex. Midoriya's kind and selfless actions were, to him, trampling all over his pride and making him feel insecure. Thus, he then developed an inferiority complex because of his constant need to reaffirm that he is superior. He has been built up by others for so long that he had to maintain a certain facade. (He could have also gotten part of his intense attitude from his mom as well). For reference - Season 1 Ep.7 & Season 3 Ep.23 are good examples that show you why he was the way he was, (ironically they’re Deku vs Bakugo 1&2).

Bakugo was overpraised since he got his quirk, its quite understandable why he grown up like this. And he hated Deku because even if he didn't have quirk he considered Bakugo like a regular person, for Bakugo it was like Deku was looking down on him. During both of his fights with Deku we heard his reasoning.
