A quick explanation on the lumachina stuff, there wasn't much of a plothole with her being captured. She wanted a bloodless solution, which meant turning themselves in and coming up with a plan from there. those paladins that were escorting them up the tube were taking them to the confession chambers, and Vishos came up after, which is where we start the episode. Also, there has obviously been a lot of cut content, but what's weird is how they took the boss of volume 10, Europa, and just stuck him in the volume 6 church arc. Vishos isn't nearly as big of an antagonist as they made him in this season. They should be fighting the Demon Lord that Varakness worked for, but thats 2-3 volumes ahead of where the anime should be, so it makes some sense that they took a boss from later in the series.
