It seems like they aren’t changing anything but just skipping arcs. There’s legit no reason for them to skip goldy pond. It was the peak of promised never land. It’s almost like if they cut out pain from naruto and and straight went into the war arc.

How is not wanting to watch an incomplete story being picky lol. With the way they are adapting this show there is literally no reason to not just read the manga. I'm not saying what's been shown so far is bad but if they are really just skipping arcs then there is no reason to watch this if you enjoy reading manga.

I made an entire rant video just for this episode so I understand the frustration but like I posted last episode on Patreon this series took a nosedive when they didn't explain anything. They glossed over the "HELP" sign on the wall and nobody cared about it hell they didn't even tell Emma. They didn't explain the humans in the series and just put them in even though you were supposed to know who they are at that point. Plus they weren't even supposed to be in the village for long but circling back to the most important quote "Search for the Seven Walls" that they skipped they made it a bigger deal to be in the village then originally intended. By the way with Norman back he's actually been in the series longer than he's been missing so they also screwed that up as well he was revealed way later with actual buildup but again terrible adaptation.
