So they are cutting a major character out the story and maybe they are also skipping a whole arc. Probably my favorite arc of the series. But I don’t want to say anything just in case they decide to put it in later which is unlikely to me.

I get where you're coming from about the mc mentality, but at the same time you can't just expect them to just be like, "Welp, everything's fucked. We're all gonna die. Let's just give up because that's reality." That won't help the situation either. Better to hype themselves up while still managing expectations within reason. Emma already stated before that she doesn't expect everything to go smoothly. But she's the type to keep the pessimism to herself and let the younger kiddos who look up to her only see her confident side.

Nope this series is fucked. They not only remove one of the most important characters from the manga but take out the guns that was supposed to be in the bunker as well. He was supposed to be the first male adult the kids see in the series which is funny cause Jouten commented on how there are no males when he was supposed to be shown last week. That raid in the episode was supposed to happen after the next arc which is the best arc in the entire series and now it's pointless. I mean come on they gave the kids the bunker in the last episode only for them to take it away next episode that tells you this is rushed to high hell. It's supposed to take "them" months of searching each bunker in order to narrow down the bunker the kids are in and they did it in a week which makes you have no sense of establishment to how important the bunker was for the kids. I was fine with them cutting out the vine trap in episode one but anime original content is supposed to be added on to the original content not take it away.

I know that but you see it just makes no sense. In the episode they had been attacked at bunker on February 26, 2047 but they left the house on January 15th 2046 they have already spent one whole year in the bunker already in the anime which it not really told to us the viewer. The bunker was supposed to be attacked on October 27th 2047 but by then they were supposed to have learned a lot about the mythology of the demons and the village infiltration in that entire year span which just got skipped entirely. And if I'm talking to Popo remember that Mujika never talked about "Search for the Seven Walls" that she was supposed to tell the audience last week as that phrase is the VERY important to the not just to the whole series but the Culvitidala arc.
