I think they are doing a movie for the following reason that the next Arc has already started in the Manga (Chapter 54 starts it with the 3 arriving at the train station and getting on the train) after that they meet Rengoku on the train itself where the film will starts. Then it goes on to Chapter 66. If they then insert Chapter 67-69 in the film or in a 2nd season is hard to say, since the next major Arc after that begins at Chapter 70 and goes to Chapter 97. (Chapters 67-69 are probably different things, possibly recovery after injury and other things)

I actually kinda like they r animating the infinite train arc by itself because if it was in the beginning of next season we will almost blow of steam way to quick hopefully season 2 after the movie

Not only that, but because like i mentioned in the Comment over you, the Infinite Train Arc has only 14 Chapter, that would only be Material for 7, maybe 8 Episodes ( they used 53 Chapter + the beginning of Chapter 54 for Season 1) and the Arc after that has 27 Chapter, that would be half of what they used for Season 1. I dont know about the Chapter after it, but they prevent to stretch it unnecesarry or other " dumb " decisions this way.
