Its really sad to watch this show get so screwed by its pacing... (This is what i was expecting up until episode 15 ) It could end all its 23* Episodes right before the child arc without any problems ( Content wise) but that might be to slow for people, and we dont had an finale... i mean do we have now?? Or they could launch around 27 episodes and end at the end of LN4 ( or what could be season 2 ep.1 )

I agree with you on the second half of this anime. I have read the LN and can only say that LN 3 and 4 are extremely worldbuilding heavy and they rushed and cut the content like hell. Before Rimuru arived in Ingrasia he went to the guild and became an adventurer and made the test. The last test kind of went of the rails because the examiner was mad at rimuru and he summoned a lower demon. Great sage picked up on this and learned to summon a demon

Wholesome season finale. Sure I expected a bit more oomph, but I'm still happy with it. Plus we got more on the way. I think ppl panic and freak out too much about skipped content, like it's the end of the world. Some anime end up just doing content out of order. But not going exactly by the source material is nothing new, idk why ppl are surprised. Literally every piece of media that is adapted from something never goes exactly by the source material. Movies, TV shows, books, etc. Hell, Dragon Ball Super manga came AFTER the anime and it didn't go exactly the same.... and now it's ahead. Darling in the FranXX is going slightly different route than the anime as well. I understand about the missing details though, but I don't sweat it. I just enjoy what's there. I'll read the manga later. I just love the characters and the world they're in, as well as all of their interactions. That in itself is enough for me.

Reading your comment I assume you havent read the source material I have no problem with skipping some unimportant stuff, but here some MAJOR points were left out. Without those points many plotpoints make no sense

Season 2 does need more of Souei's Ninja Waifu Squad, though, just saiyan.

Shin splits

This anime was super hype for me during the first half the second was a lot of world building and really no major action. I just need Rimuru to get his ass beat to show that there r actual danger.
