Okay, just for info on why this series is so HYPED up, It was created by the literal "God of Manga" Osamu Tezuka, back in 1967 - 1968. It's one of his less popular series, but is one of the darkest, most mature, and most complex of his works. He is credited with being an inspiration to not only mangaka like Akira Toriyama (Dr. Slump and Dragon Ball), but to Japanese animators including Hayao Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli). Series like this early on in the history of Manga/Anime are what made it differ from western media, in that manga and anime where not designed just for kids as it was in the rest of the world. Osamu Tezuka literally helped shape the industry from it's birth during the cultural shift in Japan post WW2, being one of the fathers of the manga/anime industry as we know them today. And without series like Dororo, we wouldn't have mature anime for teens and adults at all.
