I'm pretty sure that the prevailing theory about silver eyes is that those are people that are descendants of Ozpins reincarnations <a href="https://imgur.com/a/BA4pxAM" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://imgur.com/a/BA4pxAM</a> here's the kids that we see from one of ozpin's non Salemrelationships. Also it would explain where the magic comes from(Oz) and since Oz is essentially the new God of Light why the eyes are super effective against the creatures of darkness like when the God of light walked into Dark's domain and BTFO'd all of the grim with a flash of light.
