If by now you're thinking that this must be the longest I've ever taken to produce a set, you're pretty spot on! And part of why I'm doing this post is to both show that there is progress, but also explain why it's taking so long.

The two shots in this post are good previews of the fucking leading up to the climax. Which is still planned to be very extravagant :D But, this is also one of the trickiest sets I've ever produced. I do think the quality is a reflection of the effort it takes to create this, but I'll get you guys a little bit more in the loop anyway.

Two things slow down the production of this set from a technical standpoint:

1) The lighting. This is actually the least intensive of the two, since I have two lighting setups that I activate in this scene depending on the angle I'm rendering from, and hopefully you can't tell which one I'm using one. So if I do my job right the whole set is pretty seamless. However! The lighting REALLY isn't playing nice with Jordan's hair, and this is forcing me to go through a lot of extra trouble both in setting up the shots and in editing afterwards in photoshop.

You can see part of this in the front-facing shot where there's two black dots on her forehead. This is the transmap not playing nice with lighting angles. In the final version of this image the two dots won't be there. It doesn't take a whole lot of correction, but it is super annoying to do every time.

2) Jordan's hair is some of the most detailed technical hair I've ever worked with. The long braids require a lot of setup and tweaking in every pose since I'm doing a lot of full body shots. If I get anything wrong it looks like her hair isn't responding to gravity and motion, and it'll take you right out of the scene. So where usually I would set up a pose with a number of camera angles, and then a number of variations for each pose, with Jordan's hair this time the slightest variation results in me having to rework all the individual braids to look right again.

This two things combined result in a lot of time per-render. Then also add me randomly creating bridal minisets in the middle, sort of also to take my mind of this set and keep things fresh, and what you end up with is something that's taking forever.

The main takeaway from this is that I'll probably never give Jordan this hairstyle again :P So if you like it, enjoy it while it lasts, haha. And I will make sure that by the time this set releases, it'll have been worth the wait :)

More bridal stuff coming up this month in the higher tiers too! So stay tuned for that.

This makes me remember it has also been a while since we last had some extreme stuff (i think last thing was horsecock right?) Are you planing a poll on this soon-ish?

Yeah I can do a poll. I'd have to think about some hardcore stuff I wanna do though.
