Time to animate (Patreon)
Content
Alright, the March preview post just went up for the public. Make sure to keep the comment section clean so the Patreon overlords stay happy :D
For all if you guys on the other side of the paywall, I have a little something else to share. Oh, and the image used for this post has nothing to do with anything. I just hadn't posted it yet and I thought you guys would like it :D
In any case, this is looking like a pretty full month right? Now why would that be? Well, I'm trying to clear my schedule for animation! This is something I've been waiting to do for a while. After March, all throughout April/May/June I will dial down my production of image sets to clear my schedule for full-steam-ahead animation work.
Together with my creative partner Cosmo3DX it's time to start working on an actual debut release. Now of course anything and everything we produce for that will be extensively previewed here on Patreon, and we're even looking at doing a few Patreon-exclusive things that won't be included in the final release. This is a very daunting prospect for me because even as I write this I find it hard to believe that the time to animate is finally there. But it is, and I have to take it seriously.
My patreon has steadily seen an inflation of content across the last year and a half. Which is fine, you guys are super loyal supporters and you're doing a huge part in keeping the render PC running. But all that work has also made it super hard to transition into animation, which in a way defeats the purpose of patreon at all: initially I started here because I thought the added distribution platform would actually allow me to relax a bit more and focus on animating.
In order for this to happen, time has to be made. Now, I'm not going to be releasing nothing throughout Q2. Obviously I'll still do minor sets. But I'm at the very least delaying production of a new comic until Q3. I'll probably still do minisets though, in fact I might even do more of them than usual just to keep a steady trickle going.
Of course the upside is that at the end of this process there will be a complete animation ready to be enjoyed, and there will be previews of it throughout. So you guys won't walk away with nothing.
But all of that is talk for April. For now, March is still a big shiny chest full of goodies, and I hope you'll stick around to enjoy them :)
