💻 Lustbound Update January 2023 | New Environment, illumination & More 🤩 (Patreon)

Has been a bit, hasn't it? If you are not in the Discord (which you should really join at this point) you might have missed our latest screenshot and New Year's greeting. Without wasting time pasting that again, let’s get into what happened these last couple of weeks!

First off, Estelle finally moved into her apartment. While the void looked exotic and colorful, it wasn’t the nice and cozy place we wanted her to live in, so after many months of renovation, she’s finally in!

This came with a lot of challenges and changes. Rather than plastering a wall of text though, let’s just summarize it. (tl;dr right?)

• Completely changed out the lighting with a global illumination-based system to complement the new apartment
• Reworked the camera system to fit into the new apartment, along with your view staying within bounds
• Reworked the character shader, should look a lot better now and work with the new lighting
• The pose system now includes her surroundings in placement (kinda like it was in Koikatsu 
• The Funscript player system was also changed to work with the apartment (was more work than you may think!)
• A lot of bugs were fixed
• And other small changes (New Toy shader, made some small changes to how and when buttplu𝐠.io system works, etc)

In other good news, Lovense (The company behind toys like the Lush and Max 2) approached us on working together in bringing their API into our game. This integration and more are currently ongoing and will take a bit longer though.
This means there will be another way to use your lovense toys with our game soon!
