Don't put any valuable/important equip in your pants' pockets. I really like helikon equipment, but I never was lucky with their trousers. My utp shorts both lost several pockets (fabric or seams) during 1-2 year usage (only in summer) and I got this issue with my otp long pants. I have been and will be repairing those because I love them for several reasons, but for heavy usage I'd definitely always choose my 5.11s.

Interesting I only broke an internal pocket on my UF PRO Strike XT pants. Helikon OTP seems to be super durable. In Poland we walked through a couple of brushes and thorns without any visible damage to the pants. Could be poor QC - i received shorts from Helikon that had a poor seem on the waist velcro.
