Reddots on pistols are not a magical device that will improve your shooting. Even more, most shooters will notice a negative effect right after they mount their first reddot on their handgun. The biggest issue for new shooters with reddots is finding the dot after draw or even after transitioning from target to target. Primary Arms made a big leap in this field by collaborating with Holosun and creating a pistol red dot with an innovative ACSS Vulcan reticle. This reticle has a chevron in the middle and a big outside circle that can't be seen if the shooter has the gun properly aligned.
