Future plans for Ray Fox (Patreon)

So in the previous post I noted that I'll be soft rebooting Ray Fox. Now for those that may be alarmed by this, I'm only redrawing the events of the first 4 chapters which will be condensed to 3 chapters. Many panels, especially for chapter 2, are being traced so it won't take me as long as you may think (or I at least hope so, LOL). There are also only mostly being redrawn with minor changes to Chapter 1 and 2 and major change of events to chapters 3 and 4. But the major course of events (Arsenal destruction, Ray meeting Liev, joining S.O.S, etc), still play out the same, the execution will just be different this time.

Now why did I decided to make such a big decision? Well, Chapter 1 of Ray Fox was my first big project as a writer, and although I think it's aged well considering it was my first project, it has not aged well enough to my demands. As I've grown as a writer, I've had better ideas and inspirations to use in Ray Fox. But unfortunately, a lot of these improvements are ideas I can not use in Ray Fox as it is. I wish for Ray Fox to be much bigger and to reach a more diverse audience. Since I have such big expectations for this comic, I've come to terms that in order to reach these goals, it is best that I start the story over with my new inspirations and things I've learned as a growing writer.

Like I said before, only the events of the first 4 chapters are being redrawn, so it's a very soft reboot. The last 2 chapters you all have experienced within the last year and a half remain the same. I do hope you all continue to support me as I improve the comic! I think you all can appreciate the fresh new take for the series especially in the new Chapter 1 coming soon.
