oh newt… you worry so much about huey, not even realizing you’re doing the same thing he is — taking on all the blame, thinking you failed your loved ones. he gets that from his mama.

Words can’t describe how horrific the whole situation is for was. Scarfy losing control of his own body because of a parasitic crystal, Huey not only seeing his mother getting a nearly fatal injury but also feeling responsible for what happened, and Pig seeing all this happening to her father at a young age. I honestly have no clue how everyone can ever mentally recover from this aside from I guess talking it all out.
