Now, technically we wrote this comic in the correct month.  Jason is still sorta new at this role, and he might not think it's okay to send me a mail that looks like "Hey, Idiots!  You gotta make the thing!" but when we have three conventions in four months - one of which takes place in fucking' Australia, of all places - it's absolutely okay.  It's okay even under the ordinary circumstance!  I am unlike a typical boss in that respect. In any case, we're scheduled to write next strip next week and it's set to come up on my phone with a very mean message and a custom sound.

Now we're in the part of the year where I might come into the studio to do an episode of Acquisitions Incorporated, Black Remnant, or both, and when I go back to see how Lidija and her stalwart lieutenant Jen are doing, I get a surprising glimpse of PAX 2024 merchandise - startling, overwhelming, like a peek at a Victorian ankle.  I brought a shot back to my daughter Ronia, who proceeded to freak out.

Anyway - are "ankle men" still a phenotype?  Did that one fall off?  I guess there's a lot of ankle out there now.  If they are still out there, they're probably just sated; being an Ankle Man in 2024 is like being belly up to a 24/7, Las Vegas style Ankle Buffet.

Anyway, I hope you like the strip.  My big projects right now are finishing this novel (very difficult) and trying to help Mike with his sticker obsession - he thinks there's a type of game that uses stickers and beautiful watercolor books, and he asked me to figure out what that looks like.  So…
