Club PA Tier Changes Are Going Live! (Patreon)

Good afternoon, everybody!

We're implementing the changes to Club PA tiers today. A quick refresher for the big changes: we're eliminating the $10 coupons, adding a discount to the Fleshreaper tier, and increasing the discount for the Merch tier. We're also changing how you receive and use these discounts, and these changes will also change how you receive and order merch packages and pins.

What's happening today is that we will be turning on the store and sending out emails to Club PA members subscribed to the Merch and Fleshreaper tiers asking them to create Penny Arcade store accounts and link them to your Patreon account. This will make it so that your Club PA discounts will always be applied to eligible purchases on the PA store, and it will allow you to order Club PA exclusive merch.

Here's how it works:

1. Members in the Fleshreaper and Merch tiers will receive an email to the email associated with their Patreon accounts. This will have a link asking you to register an account with the Penny Arcade store.
   
2. Clicking the link will take you to the PA store. Once there, register your account.
   
3. This will sync up with your Patreon account, and automatically apply your discount, as well as enable you to order Club PA exclusive pins and merch.

How Will that look?

1. When you are signed in, you will see “Club PA” as an option under “Brands”
   
2. Going into the collection, you will be able to see what merch is available. The only thing available on the Club PA store right now is the Penny For Your Thoughts tee.

4. Merch Package: Penny For Your Thoughts Tee: This is what you'll select for the free reward for those in the Merch tier. Add this to your cart, and a 100% discount will automatically apply to the order. You can only order one of these per Club PA account.
5. Penny For Your Thoughts Tee: This tee can be purchased multiple times by both tier members with the 10% or 20% Club PA member discount applied.  
   

Please be aware that under this new system, you will be charged for shipping. Unfortunately, implementing this system means that this is unavoidable.

EU/UK Patrons

The process for Patrons in the EU and UK is different, due to ongoing shipping challenges. Members in the Merch and Fleshreaper tiers will still receive emails asking you to link your Patreon account to a PA Store account, and you are free to do so. However, until we can sort out fulfillment from the PA Store to the UK and EU, we will continue to use Patreon to fulfill Club PA rewards to the EU and UK. Members of the Merch tier from the EU and UK will receive a second email with a small survey to fill out. This survey will ask for shipping information, if you want the merch package, and what size shirt you'd like to receive. 

Timing

After about two weeks, we'll let everyone know that we're closing the store. EU/UK members will also have two weeks to fill out their surveys. Once this time period is up, we'll order the shirts. These should ship out sometime in January of 2022.
