Mike Krahulik has built a kind of rudimentary car frame, the part under the seat anyway, and he does use it to transform into another person altogether named Mike Racecar.  In the old overlay, he would put a pair of racing gloves on and a massive, white star would erupt around him emblazoned with the words "Mike Racecar."  That's how you know it was him.

He didn't get all the way through building an X-Wing Chair of some kind, but the game as launched didn't stick with us.  At least, it hasn't yet.  The main things I'm waiting for in Squadrons are patches related to VR performance and HOTAS shit, because between the two of those things that's why I wanted it in the first place.  I've never felt so sick in VR - I pulled it off my head and I was slick with sweat, hella damp, but I stayed submerged in it because I'd never seen anything like that Goddamn X-Wing cockpit.  The view was jumping all around me while I was in it, the simulated universe in constant flux, and still I toughed the mission out.  But it's not, you know.  Optimal.

So now you've had a chance to feast on the Club PA stuff from PAX Online, which I hope you enjoyed.  In both cases.  But I'm starting to think that Club PA might be a good place to keep me honest on my Lexcalibur II timeline, and give Mike a place to show off new art - just drop new stuff in directly in here, kinda write it in public.  Mike and I specifically are also working on something cool people are always asking us for, and we think we've found a way to streamline it.  Hopefully you won't have to wait all the way until the next newsletter to know what I mean.

Fingers crossed,

(CW)TB
