Sea of Thieves is such an interesting game, interesting specifically in ways that put it outside the editorial edifice.  There's a Rorschach Test element to it, because it is essentially a strange, arcane mirror for players.  They've added a tremendous amount to the experience since launch, it's always going to be - as Mike calls it - a costume trunk.  There's no real UI to speak of, in a world they've tried to make function according to its own reliable physicality.  His family is in there every night, where it dutifully operates as a kind of pillow fort.

The strip comes from one of those nights, and a wave based mode with various novel polarities, but depending on when the Podcast for it came out you might already know that.  Hopefully you are enjoying the return of the podcast!  Once we have a few more in there, when I can feel confident that it's a cadence we can maintain even while doing the business stuff that makes up most of our days now, then I'll let people outside the Club know that this is where it went.  I think this is the right home for it.  I don't want to stop the podcast or cut in a part where I tell you about beds or an online HR platform, even though that's sort of the dream of the medium.  I think it's fine for it to live in here and I think it's better.

Thanks for supporting the stuff we get up to here at Penny Arcade.  I'll see you at the show, or if not at the show, in a ghostly vision that haunts my waking hours.

No advertisements for quality bedding products mid-podcast? But how will I know where I might procure my full-size Donaar body pillow?! ("Always be the littlest spoon. 110% snuggly-wuggliness guaranteed.") (Thoroughly enjoying the return of the podcasts. A+ content)

I accidentally read that last sentence as "wanking hours"

Short, parody ads in the middle of the podcast might be a fun creative writing assignment, Jerry. Just saying...
