Back again! (Patreon)

Hi there ! So, my Patreon account, once again, got unsuspended. As you may have noticed, I had to take down basically everything. Don't worry, I saved all my content and will send you the files containing everything soon.

I'm not gonna lie to you, this has been a pretty shitty week. The first time I got suspended, I thought it was because I had been using pornographic pictures and posting them directly on the page. But this time, they went after the PDF files, the links and even the written content of the captions. Somehow, my content was "glorifying incest", whatever the fuck that may mean.

For a week, I took down the things they asked me to take down, but they would always come up with more things to remove, even stuff that wasn't really porn (Working for Coca Cola, for example, just has nudes and transformation, but they wanted it gone too). It feels like they are on some kind of crusade against explicit content, I heard other artists got the same treatment. 

The problem is that we're getting close to the end of the month, and if my account wasn't unsuspended by then, I wouldn't be paid at all, which sucks. So I just removed everything, because I felt this was going to last for weeks if I didn't do so, and I didn't have the time to protest.

To be honest, I'm really annoyed by this situation, I probably spent about half the month of June trying to get my account unsuspended over and over again, and it made me get really behind schedule with all the requests and my other projects. It's also the method I don't like: just getting a notification saying your Patreon page is blocked, not even a warning. I happen not to make a gigantic amount of money here, and I have a full-time job to provide for me. So the money I make here is more like extra cash to live a bit more comfortably. But I know some creators rely heavily on their revenues here, and potentially making them lose their livelyhood out of the blue, like this, is just abusive and disgusting.

 Don't worry, I'm not planning to stop writing any time soon, but I may have to find an alternative to Patreon in a close future. Do you guys know anything you can recommend? I was thinking Onlyfans could be an idea, since they are famous for hosting porn, they shouldn't be too much of a pain in the ass. But I'm not too familiar with the website. What do you think?
