As promised, here's the new update containing the 2 remaining bad ends: one for the Arachne, and one for the Werewolf Boss.

With their addition, all 4 bad endings ideas (Kobolds, Sinccubus, Arachne and Werewolf), which won in the last custom poll have been implemented!

I sincerely want to thank you for supporting me through all of those years, in a variety of ways. Especially, your kind words of encouragement help me out a lot! As well as your generous direct financial support, which keeps the project moving along, and I also enjoy all of the comments, suggestions and constructive feedback that I receive on the posts here and in the direct messages.

Really, it still boggles my mind that so many people have not only enjoyed my little amateur indie game, but also felt strongly enough about it so as to join all of us here. It is frankly so awesome to have so many like-minded individuals with which to share my niche (and weird) passions.

With all of that said, next year (as early as possible) I want to complete the development of Mystic Knight Maya. Compared to my 1st game, Pixie Panic Garden, which took around 10 months from start to finish, it's crazy to think that MKM is now going into 4 to 5 years of development!!

The scope of both projects doesn't really compare, that is true, but it is also true that development on my 2nd game has gone on for long enough. Feature (and scope) creep is a hell of a drug! :-)

I'm extremely excited to move on to my 3rd game project, so I want to conclude the current one ASAP next year, and for that I want to do some serious dev crunch work, in order to to add the remaining systems, add new features, rework and rebalance stuff, and add overall polish and refinement so that I can release the final version 1.0 of the game.

So in anticipation of that crunch time, I want to take these final days of the year to rest a little from game dev, so that as soon as the new year arrives, I can begin the final stretch of the marathon. This is it everyone, after all those years, we're getting close and I can already see the finishing line in the horizon!

Again, thank you so very much for all you've did for me. I see and appreciate each and every one of you, and I'm super grateful for your support. Here's to many more years of fun and erotic games!

I wish you happy holidays and a great end of the year! Happy celebrations!

Best Regards,
Mega

Super Sexy... Spoiler: That Werewolf fucked her brains out... pretty much literally...

Oh wow! These ends were really great, Mega! Don't know if it was intended, but for both, Maya shows she can be the best mom and partner for her mate~

I don't know how you do it. You keep raising the bar with these endings. It was well worth the wait for that werewolf scene to be finished.

I'm glad to help support what I think is a wonderful game, and a wonderful game developer! I hope you have a Merry Christmas, enjoy the holiday season, and feel refreshed for the new year! And that goes for everyone else too!

LogJamStudios

its been an awesome ride to see how far this game went. Can't wait for the 1.0 release in the near future and what great games you make next! (Also, I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I really love the soundtrack of this game, and my favorite has to go to the town. That music is so dang catchy. You do the music too btw?) (Oh shoot, almost forgot, ☆ MERRY CHRISTMAS ☆

So, I don't know what happened, but I seem to have a broken version? I tried to download it, and when go to load the game, the splash screens don't show correctly, and I get "Version 1.null" on the title screen.

MegaBlueBall

You've downloaded from the links in this post right? What's your OS? It could be that you're trying to run in on mac or linux.

EldarienEmissary

I've downloaded it from multiple links and they all seem to break. I'm on Windows 10, and have downloaded and used prior versions with no issues before. Not sure what went wrong on my end.

Ah that's intriguing indeed, let's try and troubleshoot a few possibilities: 1) New folder: Make sure the game is fully unpacked, and if you're overwriting the files into the same folder of an older version of the game, instead unpack it to a clean folder. 2) Old save files: if you're using old save files, there could be an unexpected incompatibility which I didn't account for. Inside the unpacked game's folder, when you run it once, it creates a fresh "UserData" folder, so try removing/renaming the current "UserData" folder and run the game fresh again to see if that fixes it. Or inside that folder, you could just delete the file "MKM_configfile.json", and let the game create a new fresh one. You won't lose your saves, but your game's options configs will reset, which is a bummer but it might fix the issue. 3) Executable permission: Please give administrator permission to the game's main executable/folder. Don't worry my games don't have virus, you're free to run them on any virus checks you'd like it all comes green. I'm just considering this possibility that the OS, or the specific root directory where you're placing the game, it might not be getting permission to create the "UserData" folder and therefore corrupting the game. Please try those out and get back to me to see if we can fix your problem.

Oh a #4 if all of the above fails: Inside the games's folder, please navigate to: "Mystic Knight Maya_Data\StreamingAssets\Languages" There should be a "LanguageList.json", which you can open with any simple text editor (notepad), and please confirm that there's a simple structure inside there for the English Language, with ID zero: "listOfLanguage": [ { "id": 0, "native_name": "English", "folder_name": "ENG" } ] Then, on that same folder, enter the "ENG" folder and confirm that there's 7 files in there, with names such as "UserInterface.json", "Dialogue_Various.json", etc.

It's obnoxiously good. ♥ Well done!

I found out the issue. I had recently put all of my "Adult" games into a folder on my desktop, which I made the icon invisible, and named it a special, invisible character so that it would be completely hidden. Upon taking the game out of said folder, it works perfectly fine. In case it matters, the symbol is " " or Alt Code 255. Sorry that I didn't get back to this sooner, but I'm glad the problem was just me being dumb. X3

MegaBlueBall

I'm happy that you're now able to enjoy the game! But yeah, that's an interesting unique case, and one that the game's programming was not expecting. I'll take a look at it to see if I can make the code recognize this special case.

In the hills stage, just before the monster city, there is a big doorway in the caves with the fairies and centauresses. Entering that cave, you'll access a whole new area of underground cavers and stages. At the end of one of these branches, you'll fight the werewolf boss.
