Hey, I recognize that pose!

While the whole "Jack-O crouch" meme is long gone, that silly pose felt like a good fit for the upcoming bad end, given the size different between the Arachne and Maya. Considering that Maya is also willing to receive all of the eggs that will make her belly grow immensely, that pose instantly sprung into my imagination, as it leaves some space for her tummy to inflate, and I think it came out quite nicely.

The spiderlings will have two color variations, with each one taking more after each of the mothers. At first I had made them much smaller, even smaller than the tiny faeries, but at that size it is so small that you lose a lot of detail in the pixel art and ultimately those weren't as cute, so I settled with the two that you can see in the preview.
