Hello everyone!

Work on the werewolf boss is moving along well. As always, by far the thing that takes the most amount of time for me to produce are the drawings and animations, but I'll keep moving forward one pixel at a time :-)

The truth is that the bigger the characters are, the harder they are to animate. But when it comes to bosses there's no helping it so I try to give them my best shot (limited artistic skills permitting of course).

When it comes to depicting werewolves, some portray them as having tails but given how they are humans transformed into beasts, growing a tail bone doesn't seem right for that so in my vision they are tail-less and adopt a more humanoid posture, except when running and chasing Maya because their new beastly legs aren't that good for hind-running.

The werewolf also has a ragged and feral appearance, which will correlate not only to its fighting behavior but also for story reasons which will be implemented in the future. One of its fighting moves will be reminiscent of "BERSERKER BARRAGE!", if you catch that reference haha.

This fight will happen in the area that you can see above as well, with the moonlight shining through an opening on the side of the hills. Maya will be able to reach that area via an elevator that will carry her from the caves all the way up to that area.

Semi-related to that is that I already completed the feature that will allow for boss fight rematch. As you can see in the gif above, there is a burning soul that will appear after you defeat a boss for the 1st time and If you interact with it, a rematch will begin with a stronger version of the boss.

Alright now I'll go back to finish the werewolf boss fight and ero scene.

Thank you very much for your continued support!

"(limited artistic skills permitting of course)." Asking any artist not to self-deprecate may be futile, but your pixel art looks really good and you should be proud of where you're at. Also, the ability to fight bosses again rules. Thanks for that.

Well as they say, you're your own worst critic. But I think it's okay to view your work as limited as long as you are in the mindset of knowing it'll constantly improve. Going back to your work on Pixie Panic Garden and looking at how your artwork has progressed up to now, it's been really improving, and I hope I'm not the only one wanting to see how much more it'll improve from here on out. As for the werewolf, it's looking good. Though tails are nice and can add to appearance, I can understand the logic behind no tail. The boss still has good appearance without one. Haha, good 'ol Wolvie Marvel VS Capcom reference. With that and the little running animation, I wonder how fast the boss will zip around the area.

Ooh, you know what might be neat? If the moon starts to wane as the werewolf boss takes damage. Also, will there be some kind of special reward for the boss rematches?

MegaBlueBall

Hey Vik! Yeah the werewolf is definitely going to be the most agile boss yet. So much so that I'm trying to find a good balance on his speed so as to not make the fight too difficult.

MegaBlueBall

Not currently, but an interesting idea that I have for the boss rematches is for them to be alternative fights entirely, meaning different skins for the bosses, new patterns of behavior and new erotic scenes. I'm not sure if I'll be able to materialize this idea but It would be very cool to have those different versions.

Second boss rematch? Great idea.

Hmm. So alternate ero scenes for boss rematches? Maybe each boss that comes back has an added vore move, because they are trying to get back the life they lost?
