Alright, twas a lot of work but I've completed all of the grab and ero animations for the current monsters in the game. You will be able to play around with them in full on the next release.

To give everyone a better idea of my current approach to making those animations, I've attached a small video on this post that you can download. It showcases a quick comparison between the animation of my previous game Pixie Panic Garden and the current one.

Also, the 3 main ero loops have small variations on them as they progress. I will control their speed in-game, so the 1st loop will be played slow, then the 2nd a bit faster and the 3rd even faster, leading into the climax animations.

This pattern will be used for all the animations of the common enemies. And for some special enemies and the game's bosses I want to have even more detailed variations and different loops.

Right now I'll get started on implementing the animations into the game proper and when I finish that we can get started with the poll before I move on to work on the other additions.

Please let me know if there are any problems with the link/video. Since the poll is coming soon and I'll be animating one of your ideas, I wanted to give you all a general feel of my current approach to creating the animations.

odd thing to ask but what software do you use to view these loops/animate this?
