Hi there! Another milestone has been reached!

The lust mechanic will add quite a few interesting twists to the gameplay. At its simplest, it is a value that goes from 0 to 100 and can be tracked in the main pause menu. The higher this value is, the more effects it will have on our heroine that will range from changes to how she fights, moves, acquires essence and behaves during erotic scenes.

Lust will increase mostly during ero animations, but there's other specific cases that will add to it as well; cursed items, debuffs, new hazards, special encounters, just to name a few.

But one such special way are the new psychological traits that Maya might acquire during her adventure, with one example being a trait that fosters "M" tendencies in her subconscious. This trait will increase her lust whenever she gets damaged by enemies or hazards. Other traits such as [REDACTED] will make her [REDACTED], and more extreme traits might outright make her [REDACTED] and players will have to adapt to that kind of situation!

Lust can be decreased too, but there will be always some kind of cost associated. I have added 2 new items that relate to this, and it will be up to each players to decide if they want to do runs with a high or low lust stat for Maya; different play-styles with their own advantages and disadvantages.

I'm also considering a funky idea to manage lust: a scene with either Farina or Nene, having Maya go back to them and ask for help to reduce her levels of horny. Farina could have a more wholesome spin, while Nene could build some kind of machine or apparatus to "drain" the lust out of Maya. But for now this is only an idea on paper, as I have some reservations here which prevent me from doing this kind of mechanic. But it's an interesting idea to consider nonetheless.

That said, while the lust mechanic is now completed, I will certainly iterate on it going forward, adding or changing stuff as needed and based on player feedback.

And with another goal reached, I can now focus exclusively on the next one, which is to refurbish/redesign the game's stages. I'm not sure if I'll have this completed by the end of November when I release the next version, but I'll try to at least have around 50% of them done by then.

Neat. If I can suggest, if you do go with that idea of having Farina and Nene help you reduce lust, how about having the fairy go up Maya's vagina and act as a dildo to let out all her stress? Would also make for some fine irony considering all the fairy enemies instead are the ones putting Maya inside them.

Oh, that's really cool to see! I suppose that means there might be an item that can keep Maya in a perpetual stat of 0% and 100% lust, eh? Maybe something like a chastity belt and a, I dunno, maybe like a vibrator~ But yeah, it's looking better and better everytime you shown us wips. Can't wait to try them out. :3

If there was some way for the lust mechanic to communicate Maya willingly being eaten/digested, would be peak gaming. Willing fatal is super good stuff

Are high lust numbers going to make Maya even more susceptible to getting caught and railed?~ A death spiral, or s€x spiral, if you will~. Regarding redesign of stage layouts, I have two notes. . a) There are many sections that are just one type of enemy in large. It's way more fun when there multiple types of AI to fight at once most of the time, even mixing it up from other biomes in small doses; it's why monster city is easily one of my favorite biomes! b) I love the arena mode, and I would love there to be some mini arena sections in the main game. Like you walk in on a large room, all exits close, and you have to defeat all enemies that come pouring in in order to progress!

Be interesting if repeatedly getting caught by certain enemies per stage makes Maya 'prefer' them, making her more resistant to certain enemies's advances but notably weaker to theirs

Kinda curious if this will open up new scenes or not. For example, if Maya has high lust and maybe gets a preference for goblins, after enough interactions that triggers her turning into one. It would play into the fact that multiple goblins can molest her at a time as well, maybe even speed up the process?

I really hope that high lust Maya really gets into it like she does with the druid centauress. Even though she's getting enchanted by her, it's extremely hot to see Maya really invested in a scene. Perhaps you could do something cool with the bosses like Maya being their little play thing willingly and begging to serve like she does with the werewolf. But that's pretty complicated so... yeah.
