Hi there! Another milestone has been reached!
The lust mechanic will add quite a few interesting twists to the gameplay. At its simplest, it is a value that goes from 0 to 100 and can be tracked in the main pause menu. The higher this value is, the more effects it will have on our heroine that will range from changes to how she fights, moves, acquires essence and behaves during erotic scenes.
Lust will increase mostly during ero animations, but there's other specific cases that will add to it as well; cursed items, debuffs, new hazards, special encounters, just to name a few.
But one such special way are the new psychological traits that Maya might acquire during her adventure, with one example being a trait that fosters "M" tendencies in her subconscious. This trait will increase her lust whenever she gets damaged by enemies or hazards. Other traits such as [REDACTED] will make her [REDACTED], and more extreme traits might outright make her [REDACTED] and players will have to adapt to that kind of situation!
Lust can be decreased too, but there will be always some kind of cost associated. I have added 2 new items that relate to this, and it will be up to each players to decide if they want to do runs with a high or low lust stat for Maya; different play-styles with their own advantages and disadvantages.
I'm also considering a funky idea to manage lust: a scene with either Farina or Nene, having Maya go back to them and ask for help to reduce her levels of horny. Farina could have a more wholesome spin, while Nene could build some kind of machine or apparatus to "drain" the lust out of Maya. But for now this is only an idea on paper, as I have some reservations here which prevent me from doing this kind of mechanic. But it's an interesting idea to consider nonetheless.
That said, while the lust mechanic is now completed, I will certainly iterate on it going forward, adding or changing stuff as needed and based on player feedback.
And with another goal reached, I can now focus exclusively on the next one, which is to refurbish/redesign the game's stages. I'm not sure if I'll have this completed by the end of November when I release the next version, but I'll try to at least have around 50% of them done by then.
