EXO's acoustic concert performance is both a chance for the group's many fans to get a more intimate live rendition of its songs but also a chance for EXO to show off their professionalism when it comes to delivering a well-crafted musical experience.

Exo put acoustic session in they consert to proof it they can sing live...coz they prefect vokal sing haters always say they lipsying..exo consert about 3hour and they sing live and dance ...they known hate to lipsying ..except it some performance want they lipsying...

You should watch a fancam video of this stage or any stage to compare their vocals versus autotune live. Curious to hear your thoughts about it too haha 🤔 anyway indeed EXO is the best when it comes to vocals ❤️

Exo concert videos are always sooo good, I hope you guys react to more of them cause they won’t disappoint. I personally love their performance of El Dorado at their concert, the vocals are top tier!

Lady Luck is actually even older, it’s from their 2015 Exodus album. Also yep, EXO has a ton of live performances (albeit older ones mostly for group lives, newer ones are more solo with enlistments and everything). And as for maintaining the vocals, even when they don’t have live performances, they still practice a lot and even go for vocal lessons. 12 years into their career, they don’t stop trying to improve all around!

This performance is live no backing track i dont know what it is called but theirs a acoustic session same as this but in seoul where in d.o forget to point or lend help to chanyeol to hold his microphone when its his time to sing his line because basically chanyeol is holding a guitar and you can tell that their is no backing track i guess sorry i dont know what is. The term for it. But really like your reaction to exo. More exo content in the future especially their live performances.. Also i think in exo concert they sing live live because they have exo concert live track in spotify i think because more fans demand for live track of exo. Sorry for my bad English and i really dont know the right terms ti explain it.. I think you should also react to exo ultimate guide and exo individual guide first

Oh yeah for sure. We didn't talk about a vocal backing track at all, it is definitely a totally live vocal. What Theo was referring to was the possibilities of the Guitar instrumental having been potentially pre-recorded but again that was just speculation.

i have attended exo concerts and have not heard of any live auto tune.. the one time you heard could be a post production for the dvd version. Also they were playing the guitar live. they have been doing this for many performances. they play guitar & piano mostly

It is super subtle. Listeners nowadays expect vocals to sound just the same as on the studio versions (which almost always have melodyne or autotune on it) so it's extremely common among pop-groups to use pitch-correction when performing live. Autotune today doesn't sound super robotic or T-pain-ish at all which is what most listeners expect autotune to sound like. It's an interesting topic that would be super cool to make a whole video about. Some people think that Auto-tune live=equals bad singing but that definitely isn't the case at all, it's more of a "sound" to make the vocal more or less the same as the album version.

sorry I also don't mean heavy auto tune sound.. I was also paying attention to the sound when you pointed it out on Chen's part (main vocalist) and trying to hear it again with other members but it was not consistent so I said it could be have been done in the post production. cause yes this is not the sound (clean & noise reduced) when we hear in the concert which is more raw and also in fancams it don't sound the same. but I could also be wrong.

You are totally right about it potentially having been done in post-production it could totally make sense. Something I noticed while editing the video and talking with Valen about was that only some of the singers sounded like they had the "tuned sound" so maybe some of vocalists felt more confident with it on or like you said it could also only have been done in post for some parts. It is a cool topic that I would honestly love to learn more about too. Finally you are totally right about this being a mixed version, an actual concert recording would have sounded a lot more chaotic but I am really grateful for that since hearing it like it was produced was such an awesome experience.

Thank you so much for your reaction! ^^ exo concerts are the best you definately need to check out more! Speaking of acoustic in kpop, one of exo's special winter song's 'sing for you' (which they did a bit of in the killing voice) is an acoustic song, and D.O. has many acoustic songs on his two solo albums! I agree though, other than those, I don't think I've seen any other acoustic songs in kpop.
