Taeyeon seems to feel the most confident and comfortable when performing in front of an audience that supports and knows her well. Performing in an unfamiliar setting or in front of a more diverse audience may make her feel less confident. She frequently says that her own concert venues and her fans allow her to be herself and bring her happiness. At SMTOWN, it was one of the first times in a while that she performed in front of a diverse audience, I think that’s the reason as well.
