Question regarding EXO variety shows (Patreon)

Hey everyone! We hope you all are having an amazing weekend!

We've been getting many requests from the lovely EXO-L's regarding watching EXO's variety show 'EXO's Travel the World on a Ladder.' We're very interested in reacting to it, but we have some questions we'd like to ask all of you first.

Firstly, EXO's show is paid content, so for legal reasons, we can't show it here on our channel. We'd like to know if you're interested in us doing the reaction but only showing a timer on screen and not the video itself. (You would have to synchronize EXO's video on your own by using our timer)

Secondly, please tell us which one is the best streaming service for us to watch the show.

Ahhh...why cant see video ..it have issue?...i look at another patreon creator..they can do the video but just on patreon cant show in youtube

These creators are risking running into very serious issues since covering paywalled content would not be covered under any interpretation of fair use. For example, any movie reaction Patreon page also uses a timer for this stated reason.

By that logic, wouldn't reacting to most concert performances also be sort of illegal without paying (or showing it instead of the timer thing) because they are released as DVD's that you have to buy. But they 've been long 'ripped' or 'pirated' and uploaded on many streaming platforms and have been reacted to by countless of people that sometimes even upload them on Youtube. I don't know how much chance there actually is of running into trouble, because everyone has been doing it and it seems to be fine, especially on membership locked platforms like Patreon, you're not uploading it publicly on Youtube. Just some thoughts but it's an interesting and respectable take that you have. The only downside is that the enjoyment level of the reaction would most definitely suffer on the viewers end as it would be a little inconvenient.

I also subscribed to other Patreon creators and seems like showing the whole thing here in patreon was not a problem

Hmm the thing about exo's ladder is that it is indeed paid content but was only released on a Korean streaming service so it was unavailable for any international fans. To this day, it's impossible to find season 1 and 2 on any streaming service so you kinda gotta look for the episodes (I'm sure any exol would gladly point you towards the right direction). They're all gonna be on like daily motion though, maybe Google drive. Season 3 is apparently on Amazon prime video and season 4 is on viki and maybe kocowa. So yeah... as you can see it's a great time watching content as an exol lol🙃 but I feel like you'd be fine watching at least the first two seasons with it showing on screen, but it is up to you either way!

Kocowa actually has all 4 seasons! Ofc the bgm is s2 is changed in parts and one or two scenes are cut but a majority of the 4 seasons is available on it

I understand why you are choosing to do it with the timer method and yes like others said other creators do freely do it. Ultimately I wanna say that I would still watch the reaction coz it’s for EXO But yeah it would definitely be nicer with the actual video too. Also as a warm up you can start with EXO Arcade instead. It’s short eps, only two seasons and the second season is available on EXO’s yt itself and s1 subbed playlists are found on YouTube too
