I'm trying to decide on what to name my "studio" if I officially become one in 2020 so I can keep making cartoons of all kinds, which you guys are making possible! <3

narrowed down a bit, I've decided to definitely involve my childhood name SpindleHorse, and I'd love to incorporate "Toonz" as it kind of can means "tunes" in a way since so much of what I make is music based! I could also make it "Spindlehorse" alone and add "toonz" when it's a cartoon! Letting you guys give me your thoughts! ^^

Because your works make people spin around with enjoyment.

I really like the name SpindleHorse. It's a unique name by itself and would make an interesting logo concept (from the design point of view). I, personally, wouldn't add the words "toonz" to the end, as it could narrow your studio's market by name association. I get that you're going to produce mainly cartoons, but perhaps in the future, you'll want to add other mediums into your portfolio. My opinion is to keep it simple, then add on as your brand develops more, especially since your works would be moving from the singular "vivziepop" lable and into a small, corporate brand. But hey, it's your choice; though I will say that I do like the ring of "Studio SpindleHorse." :) I'm so excited to see where things go, and so happy to see you incorporating in 2020.

I really like the Spindlehouse Toons. It feels welcoming.

Epik Asia

I really like SpindleWorks. Rolls off the tongue nicely ❤️

Savage Shark

Spindlehorse toonz has a nice ring to it. Plus cartoons are freaking awesome.

I prefer SpindleHorse Toonz over SpindleWorks, because SpindleWorks reminds me of Dreamworks

I personally think Toonz feels dated if not a bit corny. So I vote just straight up "Spindlehorse". Spindleworks does admittedly have a ring to it, but also makes it feel more generic/corporate.

Also Spindleworks sounds like it could just as easily be a textiles/sewing company whereas Spindlehorse is clearly more abstract and more believable as a studio.

Broken Unicorn

They all sound pretty sweet. You could also get meta with it. Something like, "Toon Stable Studios" with Spindle the Horse as your studios beloved mascot.

Shika

I think since "Spindlehorse" is something from your childhood you should go with that, and just because "Toonz" sounds like "tunes" doesn't mean you have to always have music for a theme for the cartoon. Look at Looney Tunes and Silly Symphony, they started out as musical cartoon shorts and turned into comedy cartoons that we all know today.

What about SpindleToonz? And have a horse drawing as the logo. Ooo, maybe have a horse drawing with "Spindle" written on its back like the mane, and "Toonz" as the tail! 😯

Why not SpindleToonz or Spindle Toonz

Thruster_Check

"Horse's Table" -- as a takeoff on 'horse stable' ... maybe with a drawing of a horse working at a drawing table?

Dave

I like 1 and 4 most, the main issue with 4 is it is not instantly obvious what your studio is about which is important to communicate so in that regards having Toonz on 1 does help push it up.

I just hope you become really successful I what to be just like you

I like your projects but I don’t like these names for your studio. So I am not gonna vote.(but keep going and good luck)

I chose the one I liked best, even though I'm not a massive fan of any, but it's your studio, so go with what YOU want in the end, since.. ya know, it's yours and all. Makes sense to me.

Just “Spindle” might be lovely.
