I've been developing a ton of HH characters as I plan out the core narrative of the show. It has a ton of fun BG characters I'm starting to really fall in love with! One group of characters is this weird invasive 'Michael Scott-ish' demon boss who leads a small group of assassin imps. I really love him and his married employees who have to put up with his weird shit.

It's gotten to the point I have NO idea if they will ever get the chance in HH to be much more then colorful goofy bg characters in a pool of other colorful BG demon villains. So I'm thinking about making them their own separate little project, and maybe doing a little one off comedy animated short with them.

I'm planning on doing some more shorter-shorts besides HH so maybe they will be one of them! What do you guys think? I think it works as it's own different thing and it might be fun to give these goofy demony characters more chance to be comedic on their own!

I love the concept of this! So many characters I can imagine how difficult it must be to fit them all in well :/ a short of them would be entertaining for sure!

Epik Asia

Oh my gosh that sounds so cute! I love it! I would love to see a short of this guy. Since you mentioned Michael Scott, perhaps an Office spoof? That would be hilarious.

That sounds awesome ❤

Maybe the storylines could be sort of "Adventure Time"-esque. Some could revolve around a different set of characters or maybe told from a BG character's point of view. Eventually rewatching the episodes, they may not feel like BG characters at all, but an extended cast. Just an idea.

Even if it's a small part he looks like fun!

Savage Shark

I think both sound like fun. Maybe even have them visit the hotel and get caught in the antics? You could probably have the shorts intertwine with the HH episode in some way?

You can also go for the adventure time snails bit where while the main story is playing in the fore ground, they appear in the background doing their own errands/job/stories. Like a where's Waldo scenario.

Sounds like a great idea, some shorts like that would be fun!

If it was "shot" in a similar way to something like the Office where like you tried to emulate the documentary-style of camera movement--and cut out every once in a while to private interviews with the characters--THAT would be golden. 😂

Flare Friday

either way it looks like it wold be alot of fun!

Boss Imp: "Uh, Hello, I'm (insert pun here) I've worked as a PROFESSIONAL Assassin's coordinator for about 2 years, and have been the BOSS of the operation for about 10, now if you'll come over here, you'll see our, uh, INTERROGATION area, right is the weaponry room, and down the hall is the training area-"
