my goty is probably elden ring, but only because it's the only game I played that released this year

Mine is Xenoblade Chronicles 3… because it has the girl with the gall. Well that's not the only reason, also has a banger OST for instance.

God of War : Ragnarök. The artistry is fantastic, the music is incredible, the story is great, the characters are wonderful, and there's challenge! Meanwhile, Elden Ring is FULL of ridiculous game-design decisions people applaud because "Dark Souls, brain go brrrr".

Must be elden ring for me. I tried to handicap myself as much as possible in elden ring and fell in love with the souls genre, i just love the challenge. I always knew i would like the souls games but never tried them. Elden Ring got me into it. Now i played darksouls 1 and im halfway into darksouls 2. Its so much fun!

Soulstice. Came out unexpectedly for me and pleased, though not original, but cool gameplay. I also played the popular games of this year, but I didn’t like it that much.
