Cali Stills (Patreon)

Hi friends,

Wanted to give you a quick update and show you some unedited stills fresh off my shoot with the wonderful Cali Logan. I'm grateful I was able to work with her again, because it's been a few years since the first time we shot together. We only did one longer video together, because i didn't want to bite off more than I could chew, like I have a habit of doing lol. Although unfortunately I've already realized I missed a few pivotal shots for an important sequence, but I'll have to find a way to make it work!

Since Cali is shooting exclusively at a studio these days, rather than trying to make the studio look like a "real" place, I tried to design the video in a way where that sense of artificiality was already baked into the premise. So the video is about Cali renting a space to have a safe "trip" where she can enjoy chilling and being by herself. There, she discovers a few tiny people and goes with the flow, finding them amusing and in general, being stuck inside her head.

Even though I messed up a pivotal portion of the video, I am trying to remain hopeful about the way this video can come out. Mostly because it's Cali Logan, and her talents can make up for a lot of things :) I am also hoping we will be able to work together again in the future.

Apart from that, I've still been grinding away at the first Syra Wolf video. That rough edit has been taking longer than I expected, in part from problems in my own personal life, as well as the abstract challenges of the footage. I've had a weird set of circumstances these last few months that have forced me to dedicate a lot of my free time towards, and coupled with my normal forms of mental illness, it can produce this thing I do where I start tearing apart my videos because I think they're coming out terribly, and then I try to reassemble them. So sometimes it's better to just walk away from editing for a few days to stop myself from doing that.
