Hi friends,

Here is the last VR clip from my first shoot with Lauren Ashlyn. This is a cool little clip, but it certainly isn't for everybody. If you're someone who likes some of the more "realistic" elements of becoming someone else's pet, i.e. being ignored by a giant, you might like imagining yourself being trapped inside of a cage while Lauren browses her computer. However, if you're someone who likes things a bit more action packed, you probably won't love the section in the middle. Still, I think this is a cool little VR video, for the simple fact that Lauren told me after she shot it, that she while she was reading her emails, she actually forgot that she was shooting the clip. So in that sense, she really does forget that you're there, and I kinda think that's neat.

Anyways, here is the description:

"Lauren Ashlyn's New Pet" (VR360)

Note: This is a VR360 Clip

Have you ever thought you wanted to be the pet of a giantess? Perhaps this clip will make you reconsider. It begins with you waking up inside of Lauren Ashlyn's purse, with nowhere to go. Upon settling in, Lauren comes back to retrieve her new pet...you, and places you inside of your new home, a plastic cage. Returning to her normal life, Lauren absentmindedly goes about her day, checking her emails and ignoring you completely. It's not that she's cruel, however. Lauren fetches you some water, and places you, her new ornament on her shelf, taking a picture of you before returning to her day.

While this clip is rather brief, the section in the middle does feel a bit like an eternity. In other words, this is a clip primarily for fans of being helpless and ignored. This is a clip that focuses on some of the less glamorous parts that might come with being someone else's pet, the parts where your giantess is simply living her life and not paying attention to you. There is no dialogue in this clip.

Hoping for Lauren stepping on us barefoot

She seems very fond of that outfit! (I'm assuming they weren't all filmed same day? Kinda curious) Not that I'm complaining! Those boots are great!

This was insanely immersive, I just wish it was much, much longer, more interaction, more talking, more foot stuff etc would have been amazing but VR + booming footsteps etc is just amazing

Maybe in the future! Out of the ones we shot, there's only one barefoot stomp I think, whereas the other one that is barefoot doesn't have any deaths in it.

These VR clips were sorta an added bonus to having time left over after shooting the ending for No Man's Land! So yeah, all the shoots are typically only one day!

Yay, I'm glad you found it immersive. Yeah, it's definitely hard shooting VR stuff because you never know what you're gonna get from the person filming. With VR, I am most definitely trying to find the balance between over and under directing before the clip begins. While it's nice to let people do their own thing (because I think the authenticity is cool), sometimes the things you mentioned above happen! In the future, I'm going to have some longer conversations before hitting record.

Late to this, but I loved the sound on this. When she was off camera but you still heard her walking around, awesome. Loved the quiet and lonely parts too. The picture snapping at the end was ominous, and was a cool subtle way to show dominance. I'm all for clips like this. Keep me in the bag longer, keep her preoccupied longer, it's all good. Quick idea, maybe other than just sitting and reading, she can be interacting with other shrunken people far across the room (far enough so that you don't need to use SFX). Either prepping cages for them as well, or disposing of them...

I'm super thankful that you are into these sorta slower, more "preoccupied" clips as you put it. I was worried folks were going to be mad about the way she handled this one haha. But yeah, I totally agree that for the lonelier parts, someone should be doing something to occupy the viewer's time, and those are good ideas! Thank you!

I have to say that VR is all over the place for me, I love it but as you say you can never be 100% sure you'll get what you want but at least with your VR you add effects and sounds to intensify the immersion which is a step in the right direction I have to say since it gives it more value in its production, even if it reduces resolution or whatever I still thinks it works better and hopefully sooner or later you'll find a format that works for you to get the best possible results but I get the fact your not in the room so it makes it unpredictable... Well you do you anyway haha
