Hey friends!

You all should have gotten an email with a link for you to download this clip (please message me if you haven't received it yet, or can't garner access to it!).

Sorry, I was supposed to have this up yesterday, but I ran into some rendering/audio issues, not to mention I may have some wild news/life changes to tell you about (keyword "maybe"...knocks on wood).

Anyways, VR has been an interesting, rewarding and yet frustrating experience thus far haha. Obviously, there is a limit to what can be "directed," and I am just as surprised as everyone else when I get the footage back. From these first test clips, I've noticed that anytime my camera is inside of a circular object, the splitting can be really terrible, which is unfortunate, because there are no re-do's with this medium. In the future, I am going to try to lie the camera down flat instead, and see if that helps at all, or if it just moves the splitting to a different location.

This clip is very much a slow build. What I like about it is that Lauren is so casual, uncaring and non-nonchalant in her cruelty, it's like I actually believe her. There isn't much "action" in this one, but there are lots and lots of nice sounds from inside the jar.

Thank you all for your patience as I continue learning and experimenting with VR.

Here's the description:

VR360 "Bite Size Treat for Lauren Ashlyn"

Note: This is a VR360 Clip

You  are an idle prisoner inside of Lauren Ashlyn's room, when she looks  around for something to snack on. Upon realizing you are still trapped  inside of her jar, she pours dry cereal all around you, slowly making  her way towards devouring your tiny form. Lauren's cruelty in this one  is very subtle and nonchalant in this one. She does not really tease to  assert her power, she barely acknowledges you at all.

There  is only one short swallowing/eating scene in this clip. Unfortunately,  the splitting in this clip is also quite noticeable. Since this was the  case, I did my best to be mindful about the sound fx, and her hands  inside the jar reverberate pretty nicely. This clip is shot in 60fps  slow motion. There is no dialogue.
