Hey all!

In the latest Pin-Ups and Adventurers poll you voted for: “Let Catilus decide” for the first time! So, I am choosing to draw FOUR pin-ups in two months! Here’s the sketch of the second pin-up girl and returning favorite: Nirayne “Rain” Waveborn, my Half-Sea Elf Storm Sorceress!

I made two versions of this piece. I'm posting a tamer  version right after this one. You can find more Nirayne in the Patreon-exclusive channels of the Catilus discord! https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/212052266-Get-my-Discord-role

Nirayne is also one of the main NPCs (and a romance option) in my fifth edition adventure: The Sunken Tower! https://www.patreon.com/posts/patreon-ebook-37690074

Character: Nirayne “Rain” Waveborn, Half-Sea Elf Storm Sorceress

Nirayne is a half-sea elf storm sorceress, her magic coming directly from the sea and the sky. The proud seafaring dwarves of clan Waveborn found and raised Nirayne as their own after finding her adrift in her crib at sea.

Nirayne grew up in Wavetown, one of the floating cities of the sea dwarves, living under one of the city’s lighthouses. Her powerful storm magic and her desire for adventure urged her to take her small boat and explore all sorts of remote and exotic islands as Wavetown traveled the oceans.

When she was old enough, Nirayne boarded the legendary enchanted ship, Darkstorm, joining the rowdy crew of the infamous dark elf pirate Captain Kenthor “Rubyeye” Webcrest. Captain Kenthor quickly put Nirayne’s storm magic into use, unlocking the Darkstorm’s true potential as one of the fastest ships in the seas of Naam.

Nirayne’s magic animates the tattoos on her body. The starfish on her ankle always points north, and the wave patterns on her arm and her thigh change to reflect the surrounding weather.

Nirayne is one of my characters in the Theomachy setting!

About the Theomachy setting:

In Theomachy, vengeful gods fight each other for ultimate control of the universe, while the mortals of Naam struggle for power on a dying world. Divine magic is a force without expressed will that the warring gods hoard and wield against each other, threatening to undo the entire world. Clerics and paladins are either devout followers of the warring gods or theomachists who fight against the gods, liberating divine magic and using it against them.

What do you think? :)
